are we talking about docker-gui-0.2.17 plugin?
Are you thinking of notifications or improvements or something else that's been discussed?
-
the plugin that needs to be installed to have a docker.
I see Docker & Docker testing. which one please -
-
Go with the Docker repo of you want the stable release, or Docker testing if you want the latest features (but could have some bugs). The plugin name is the same docker-gui

I just found this one today, MotionEye, has a docker image docker pull xdrum/motioneye available at
https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/xdrum/motioneye/I think this would be a perfect candidate for docker plugin, it would turn the OMV machine into a IP Camera DVR.
I installed it and its works great.
Can you post how to pull the image?
i tried to put: docker pull xdrum/motioneye in the pull image dialog but that did not work.
For sure i'm missing something as i have never used docker before.
Thanks -

You just put xdrum/motioneye in the field and press start

Is there a guide to setting up motion eye. i ran the image and am not sure what to choose for host or container. -
Not guides per images, but the plugin usage is explained in the guide section.

Hi folks !
Another plugin named openmediavault-docker-gui is better than I've created some month ago now. I use it and it's a really good job ! So please, leave my plugin and use this one : Docker GUI plugin now stable
Thanks.

@slobberbone, since you are recommending the other plugin, do you want me to pull your plugin? If not, I have no problem with leaving it
-
@ryecoaaron : do the necessary no problem ! thank you !

Is there any guide how to use docker with OMV?
-
Yes in the guide section you'll find something detailing the use. Also is important to read the docker documentation the plugin does not allow everything that docker does, for example interactive dockers.

Is this only x86 servers? Can't see the docker section of omv-extras in my gui... Pi1 here.

x86 64 bit only. You wouldn't want to run docker on a Pi1 anyway.
-
Thought so - Not looking to run docker on a Pi1 anyways - messing about in an Ubuntu Virtualbox VM at the moment.

Hello,
is it possible to run the Docker plugin on OMV 3.0 Erasmus with the 4.7 backports kernel? It would need docker.io from backports instead of the docker-engine package.

I don't know if anyone can help on here, but i've installed docker perfectly find. I've then gone into the icons tab and installed nextcloud.
From what i've read up on, you're supposed to just then go to 192.168..../nextcloud but i get a 404 error?
