Ask for assistance in interpreting a notification

Hey,
I receive the following notification:

/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:


 


gzip: stdin: Input/output error


error: failed to compress log /var/log/syslog.1


run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1

What should I do in order to eliminate the error displayed?

pkill: pidfile not valid


Try `pkill --help' for more information.

File exists
