Hello.
How can mount folder in omv 3 ? -
plexmediaserver no working on ARM procesor

It looks like the problem demon ( transmission-daemon). Because, unfortunately, can't start. Apparently there is something wrong with the permissions, but I checked, and even changed my permission but it did not work.
The problem is the same package repository OMV-extra and the default of repo debian -
hallo Leute!
Ich bin generell Linux-Neuling, habe die Tage aber echt viel gelernt. Umsonst war die Bastelei also nicht. *g*

Which version should I download for Banana Pi M1? This https://drive.google.com/file/…CQklYLUk/view?usp=sharing or this one: https://drive.google.com/file/…2Vm81dlU/view?usp=sharing ?
I'm playing with Banana for few days, I installed second of them but it was very bugged - plugins didn't work and webui panel crashed after few minutes. After that every click in panel shows only blank white page and only refresh solves problem... But that is no good solution :-(.
Yesterday I installed clean Raspbian from official banana pi website, but I cna't install OVM on it. In terminal I got error: "bash: command not found" after send "omv-initsystem" command.
Before that I got clean Raspbian version from LeMaker, but situation was the same. Every manual of OVM installation on Raspbian look just the same...What can I do?
Wersion 2.1 have some bugs
try use 2.2.1 http://simplenas.com/download/banana-pi-m1

Hi all,
I found this site very late while I was searching for a usage for my old 2,5" drives.
Thanks a lot at cyryllo and all the others, for spending lot of time. Big Respect. Is it possible, to create a overview or a list of hardware for both projects?
1. Banana pi
2. Banana proFor a noob like me, it was a hard time to read all of the comments and when I will try to do the same, it should´n fail because of a wrong hardware.
The perfect post would be a link where a noob can buy it.Thank you all and I´m very excited to start this project.
regards
afarud
On project site have supported boards simplenas.com On this time support: BananaPi/PRO, odroid C1, Raspberry Pi 2 and Cubieboard2. -
Hi cyryllo,
I'm trying for days now to install OMV on my Odroid C1+.
I've tried some different OMV and Debain Wheezy images (yours, wheezy minimal, ...). Everytime the same result.
My router shows the Odroid in the DHCP table but I can't connect to it via SSH. The debug output says "no route to host".
The only image that is working is OMV 1.14 for the C1 from openmediavault.org. But that images produces errors when updating. This is really frustrating.
Could you please tell me how you have built the image with OMV 2.1? Or do you have any hint to fix the SSH problem?
I'm using a SanDisk Ultra 8GB Micro SD and copied the images to the card with dd on OS X and with Win32DiskImager.
Many thanks in advance.Regards,
Robert
By default after installation OMV has disabled ssh, you need to login over webpanel and enable ssh. -
do you plan to release an image for cubietruck by any chance?
No but no have this board. I do not have plans to buy cubietruck. -

I test openmediavault-openvpn and work on Banana.
Now must test openmediavault-openvpnasWhen this plugin back to ARM repo?
-
Hi guys I have tried to install it by shh unfortunately I get this :
"
root@openmediavault:~# apt-get install openmediavault-minidlna
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package openmediavault-minidlna
- Disable main repository omv-extras (via GUI OMV)
- apt-get update
- apt-get install minidlna
- Enable main repository omv-extras
- apt-get update
- apt-get install openmediavault-minidlna
Work on 100%.
-
This is the problem. I can only target one libavformat version and bananapi uses a different version.
arm repo usesI must try on odroid and RPi
-
Can you try and install it in CLI
apt-get install openmediavault-minidlna
Still problem.
When disable main package repo omv-extra can install minidlna 1.0.24, and next enable omv-extras main repo and install openmediavault-minidlna via ssh and now work.
minidlna 1.1.14 from omv-extras:
minidlna : Depends: libavformat54 (>= 6:9.1-1) but it is not installable
Depends: libavutil52 (>= 6:9.1-1) but it is not installable
this package is sid repo -
First, Cyryllo, thanks for your great work! I was using your BananNAS for weeks with no Problems.
Now i want use it with this Port Multiplexer with two HDDs:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/111157395784But the Banana Pi doesn't recognize both HHDs, only one HDD at the same time.
Is it the wrong multiplexer? Or do I have to do something in the Settings from OMV/Bananapi?
Or could the multiplexer only be broken? Thanks for your help!
download image for banana pi/pro BanaNAS PRO 1.0 for JMB321 and JMB390 from http://simplenas.com/download/banana-pro
password for ssh and web is bananas
If you use banana Pi only remove or comment line ap6210 from /etc/modules
