there shouldn't be a difference!
Please upload a DEBUG-log of Kodi for each /opt and /root and I'll have a look.
Thx

eng:
I thought about, that the ISOs (like AntiVir, GParted, etc.) doesn't have to be extracted, like this:
http://forum.ipxe.org/showthre…tid=6885&pid=9035#pid9035 -
This "LIbrary scanner" can't create the MySQL-db. Let a "Full Kodi" (e.g. on Win/Linux) create the DB, copy the sources.xml from there to OMV and it should work.
-
I thought about loading ISOs like Avira Antivirus and others over HTTP. It works over TFTP, but very slow. These ISOs are not so big and shouldn't make problems with RAM on modern PCs
Edit:
Got it working now with TFTP. I disabled it beforeAnother FR:
make a "listbox", where the user can choose which NFS-share he wants to use for the Live Images. Afterwards insert this NFS-share in the pxe-config. -
another qestion:
Do I need TFTPd in OMV enabled? Or can I disable it?Feature suggestion:
add checkboxes to the images and install all images afterwards. I don't know, if this is possible as you read the filenames from a dir, I assume -
I am too lazy to read all the 10 sites with all posts
Is it possible to chainload iPXE and load a ISO from it over HTTP? With TFTP it is so sloooooow

Please connect the USB-drive back to the server and umount it in the WebIF. Then the error should be gone.

@ gut-Pilz:
Please checkout the github again. I have fixed all known errors so far, except the watchdog ones
follow this tutorial: XBMC-Server (headless/minified) Libraryscanner -
we have some problems with the watchdog-addon. Im waiting for the dev to answer, if he wants to include our changes to his main code.

Here is the tutorial: XBMC-Server (headless/minified) Libraryscanner
@ gut-pilz:
I ment this line:Codegit clone https://github.com/OpenMediaVault-Plugin-Developers/docker-xbmc-server.git /opt/kodi-server
then you have the latest code from the OMV-plugin: docker-xbmc-server and the _log-error doesn't show up.service kodiserver showlog doesn't work because it hasn't the "showlog" function anymore. Please use "kodiserver-helper showlog" instead
-
-
Make sure, you have installed the 3.16 kernel, like ryecoaaron mentioned and you should be able to swap the Mainboard and boot OMV
-
omavoss:
dein storage MUSS schon beschreibbar sein, weil sonst kann OE ja kein "userdata" verzeichnis anlegen -
If you only have 1 docker server (Kodi Scanner) than please execute "kodiserver-helper clear" and try again
-
Sieht jetzt so aus:CodeLABEL OpenELEC MENU OpenELEC KODI-Player KERNEL OpenELEC/target/KERNEL APPEND ip=dhcp boot=NFS=192.168.115.12:/export/PXE/OpenELEC disk=NFS=192.168.115.12:/export/PXE/OpenELEC/storage overlay
-
IIRC it is correct. The drivedb is updated weekly, can't find the commit on SF at the moment.
-
ah, thx for linking
If you had problems, please checkout the git repo again. I fixed some errors and it should work now.

How does this pcDuino compare with a RPi2? Especially in SATA performance.
