Hi there.

I’m struggling with some vidros stuttering on Plex and Jellyfin. The video quality is just 1080p and it is a tv show. I have downloaded others versions and have the same issue.. I have others videos with higher quality (4k) and don’t see any issues.

These videos have subtitles embedded (not sure if it makes any difference) that I use to watch.

The client is a TV Samsung from 2017. I also trained on a PS5 and still see the stuttering. I tried to copy the file to my windows pc e play it and it went fine, without any issues..

Any idea on to check to understand the reason for this issue?

Lol... found it!

I opened the Bazarr.yml for curiosity since I deleted the entire folder after each failled tried and notice the following:

I deleted those red spaces, aligned everything and buum.. worked.

I noticed that too. I even deleted all the Jacket/Bazarr residual files and create a new compose file for each of them but still getting the same error.

I just tried to install watchtower and it went fine.

I had to do a fresh install yesterday and everything went fine untill when I started to reinstall my docker containers.

I was able to succefully install Plex, Radarr, Sonarr and qBittorrent but when I try to install Jackket or Bazarr I receive the following errors

I have tried to check for updates, reinstall docker, restart the server, Ctrl+Shift+R... no luck.. any ideas of what is going on?

Hmm..

I did another test: instead of downloading something at top speed from a torrent, I tried to copy a 15 gb file from my PC to the NAS through the LAN. The speed was greater than downloading and all went fine...

I dont have an external case with an own power supply to test right now, and I'm using a 2.5" laptop hard disk, so its not so easy to find a case for this HD size...

So I got another power supply, from my Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus, which is rated as 5V 3Amp... got the same problem....

maybe a SD Card with problem? I'm about to buy a new one to test..

Do your external drive have only one USB connector (which would be data + power) or does it also have a power connector and a separate data connector?

Mine has only one connector and it is the only thing connected to RPi4.

Hmmm Not sure about power supply.. it has worked fine for 2 weeks, even downloading huge files..

I've just checked it and it is 5V 3A as output... I saw the "Original" one would be 5.1V 3A... oh gosh..

Hello guys.

I recently bought a second-hand RaspberryPie 4 with 4Gb ram to run the OMV, replacing an old laptop.

For the first two weeks, all worked fine. Two days ago it suddenly crashed during a movie download from Radarr/Transmission. I restarted the OMV and the download got corrupted. I deleted it and restarted the download.. same thing happened. I tried to check the disk for errors, got some bad blocks that were "fixed" but the issue continues.

The RP keeps alive, I can access it through PuTTY but cant access the web interface (even clearing my cache) nor files via SAMBA nor Transmission (via portainer).

It seems that the system crashs when I download something at speed higher than 10 MB/s (my internet can go up to 30MB/s).

I tried a fresh install 3 times and got the same issue every single time.

What could it be? SD Card? Overheating? I looked the log files but I dont understand it.. Sadly I dont have an extra SD Cart to test it right now...

I tried it but after some time, I get the following error:

"target seek ERROR: Invalid argument"

That was my plan but... I bought a smaller SSD (120gb vs 320gb HDD).. due to that clonezilla is not working since the "destination" disk is smaller..

I tried to resize the OMV system using the GParted but it does not let me resize it... any clues why? it just don't give me the option to resize... I write the "new" disk size but it keeps going back to original one..

Hey there.

So I have my OMV on latest version and using one HDD for system, portainer files, etc, and another HDD to my media files.

I just got a SSD and I want to move the entire system into this new drive. Is it possible or do I have to reinstall everything?

Hello.

I currently have a NAS built into an old HP notebook from my wife. The specs are:

- Intel Core i3 M 350 @2,27 GHz

- 2 gb ram

- Intel integrated video (not sure which one)

- 1 TB Toshiba HHD

For my needs, that are basically photos backup and Plex (Movies + TV Shows), this NAS is working perfect (but not capable to run 4k movies).

The only "issue" is the ethernet that is not gigabit... and it slows down a lot when I'm backing up my photos or other things.

Since its not possible to upgrade the ethernet, i'm considering to built a new NAS server.. but the only problem is that I don't know the hardware needed to keep doing what I'm doing with (4K would be nice to have).

So, my requirements would be:

- Gigabit ethernet

- 4K capable

- Transcode? Not sure.. I watch everything on a TV Samsung, with subtitles on. Does it need to transcode?

- Budget friendly

Any advices?

I updated my RP3 to OMV4 but Sonarr is no longer compatible (and I'm having trouble to install Docker) so I want to roll back to the 3.0.99 version I had (but I dont have the image anymore).

Yup, removing security updates entry from the sources.list allows docker to install.
Problem was that php-curl wanted php7.0-curl but for some reason apt wanted to install 7.0.30 instead of 7.0.27 which is the version of php-common that is already installed in omv

I regreated updating it to OMV 4... the 3.0.99 was working like a charm... but I dont have anylonger the iso for this version to reinstall it... does any one have it?

I'm having the same issue.. maybe the repo is dead or something?
