    Hi,

    I'm on OMV Arrakis 4.1.27.

My system is installed on a desktop computer (asus, intel) running on a SSD.

I use "Power Management" and I have created a rule to go in standby mode at 11pm.

But when I go in standby, the system does not really go in standby, the screen lights off but the system (hdd, fans, leds) is still running.

I have an other server with OMV and standby works perfectly.

What can I do/check to make it work on my first server ?

Thanks in advance for nay help

    Hi,

    I'm on OMV Arrakis 4.1.27.

One of my raid is now clean, degraded.

It was a raid10 array with 4 disk, but one of the disk has dissapeared from the array and now there's only 3 active disk.

The missing disk is still there and up as I can create a filesystem on it.

How can I put It back in the array ?

Thanks in advance for any help !!

    Hi,

I have two openmediavault server (4.1.26-1 Arrakis), one on an asus mother board (intel), the other on a gigabyte motherboard (intel).

All is running fine except power management.

What I want to do: put in standby mode with planification( each day at 11:00 pm)

I use "Power Management" and I have created the same rule on each server to go in standby mode at 11pm.

It never work with my first server which never goes in standby.

Works perfect for my second server (standby at 11pm each day).

What can I do/check to make it work on my first server ?

Thanks in advance for nay help

    What I want to do:

1- put in standby mode with planification( each day at 11:00 pm)
2- auto wake up with planification ( each day at 8:00 am)
    3- wake up on lan

For (1) I use "Power Management" and created the same rule on each server to go in standby mode at 11pm.

It never work with my first server which never goes in standby.

For (3) I can wake up server in standby with wake on lan.

I never find how to auto wake up with planification... advice welcome :)

    Thanks in advance

Ok, thx, both of you, for your answers.
So, if I move to ext4 fs and use omv(first time for me with linux), my other devices (Shield, Xbox, Windows pc,...) will still be able to access folders in OMV?
Can i also copy file from windows directly to a folder in OMV ?

    Thx in advance

    Hi,

I'm looking for the best solution for my storage and hope OMV is the one.
I'm running Windows Server 2016 but I can't no more, too much issues.

So, reading a lot of comments, it seems OMV could encounter my requirements, but I need to be sure.

I've arleady 32to of data on about 12 hdd (ntfs file system) and I don't want to loose them.

Using OMV, can I keep all my NTFS HDD with perf and stability ? no issue with that ?

As other functionnnality, I only need shared folder (SMB) and all my devices accessing them (r/w), with no raid or parity.

    Thx in advance for help
