Yep, thnaks !!!!
Did what you said, used the docker plugin, point /config sot the old settings,
BUT
Stucked at the /media part, each time this line is deleted when retring the settings of the image
didn't know that, maybe it'll help peole if you pin a short thread abour upgrading ?
Ha ok. I followed the recommendation and installed a fresh new system and replugged my hard drive.
You mean when I reconnected my drives after clean installing omv 4.x ?
Yes,
With an old OMV 2.X , I'd say 2 or 3 years ago ?
Thanks

still have the old hdd where OMV 2.x was installed though
Thanks !
And is this related too boot message :
mdadm : no array found in config file or automatically
Same here on my touchscreen chromebook R11, but had also on omv 2.X
Very annoying indeed (but not like I'm going to web gui every day), keep up the good work on OMV
Hi,
Don't quite understand what I have to do.
I installed the plex plugin (like on 2.X, but is the docker plugin better now ?)
I have omv installed on a usb flash key (previously on an old hdd)
I see my old plexfolder in /srv/dev-disk-by-label-NAME/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server
when I install it new plex is building the database on var/lib/plexmediaserver, hwich is on the usb drive, right ?
should I add a user or is it done automatically ? Is that is why plex can't write on /srv/ ?
thanks
Hi,
I did a fresh install on a thumb,
Then did my settings,
Raid is ok, but marked as md127 instead of md0, is this a problem ?

(I did update the fstab for the usb drive and flash plugin, why is it still showing the swap file ?)
Thanks
EDIT : tried to fix this too within grub and uuid, no luck
Hi, Yes I tried this after few days of zero block the sdc, trying to assemble...
--force assemble, then add sdc, synched and now everything "seems" ok.
But I think I have wrong offset, what should I do now ?

Hi, I had a faluty /dev/sdc disk. Removed it and added a new one, now I can resync my raid 6.
root@Zetta:~# mdadm --assemble --scan
mdadm: device 6 in /dev/md/zetta:0 has wrong state in superblock, but /dev/sdc seems ok
mdadm: /dev/md/zetta:0 assembled from 5 drives and 1 spare - not enough to start the array while not clean - consider --force.
Nothing strange in cat/md0 o r blkid or fdisk
EDIT here is maybe why ?
Hi,
quite a noob and little bit lost here.
I had a WD 1,5 To which is faulty (/dev/sdc). Changed it with a WD 2 To
For this I did
Power off removed the old one, adding the old one.
Whatever I try (add re-add) I can't add the new one treated as spare. Suspect that it's because of a larger one ? What should I do ? (I'm under open media vault a nas system base on debian)
Thanks a lot !!!!

Hi,
Some 2TB disk went down, I bought a new one, pluged it in, rebooted,
on console I see that mdadm does not start in a degraded state.
Nothing to show in my omv raid tab
Here's my output (my old hard drive was sdg : new one is also sdg)
Thanks
