Seems like the web interface is working, because I can access it now! :)
And the old file system appears in the storage menu.
As I told I want to move the files to another NAS. What would be the best/easiest det to do this?

    thanks for the advice.
Installed new omv4 but run in to another (similar) problem, didnt get any network Connection.
When running omv-firstaid (and yes, the card was there now with a name to choose, enp3s0)I got an error when I exit the program...
Failed to excecute command 'export PATH=/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin; export LANG=C.UTF-8; monit monitor collectd 2>&1' with exit code '1': Cannot create socket to [locahost]:2812 -- Connection refused root@openmediavault

    What is this all about?

I have tried to config eth1 (also the other) without any connection.
Because the installation was made on another MB perhaps omv doesn't recognize the new NIC on the new motherboard.
Is there realy no other way to get into the gui to be able to copy out the data on the discs to perhaps a USB-disc? That is the only thing I need to do (copy out the data).

    Hi,

My homebuilt NAS with omv suddenly died, probably the motherboard (no screen output at all).
I need to get out the files from the mirrored data-discs to put on another nas I have.
So I moved the 3 hdd (system-hdd, 2 mirrored data-hdd) top my ordinary pc and booted up. Omv starts but here the problem starts.
    I get no contact with the network. When I run omv-firstaid on the console and choose configure network interface I get;
    eth1 eth1
    eth2 eth2
    eth3 eth3
I think there should be some other naming on the NIC so something is wrong here. Tried to config the three NIC but they wont work.
Im not a console person so I realy dont know what to do next. Must be a way to let omv discover the "new" NIC on my pc.

    Running command uname -a
    Linux omv 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Demian 3.2.68-1+deb7u6 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Hope to get some help here :)
