    Thank you KM0201.
I got a lot further with you help. So i did the following (in that order:

    login as su

    copy & paste Box 1

    Code
    apt install gnupg2
apt install wget (didnt work, was already installed)
    wget packages.openmediavault.org/public/archive.key
    apt-key add archive.key

    copy & paste Box 2

Then i got some warnings and errors.

    But the main information:

Its looks like the first time OMV 5 on RPI4 (4GB) without any errors!
    Great!

Thanks, I found in the meantime another post here in the forum. I had problems with the installation of the keyring but could solve it.
Now installation process of OMV5 is going on

How about to post it here?
I have all the time problems to get that keyringthing running...
    Need OMV5 for RPI4.

Tried to get OMV4 running but some things are deprecated.
Even webssh was not working and after trie to install that, i got a lot of errors.
Somehow RPI4 and OMV is not a solid option. Spent so much time to get everthing up and running.
Dont want to have the habian with OMV4 somehow... I like debian even more.

Maybe, im just too stupid.Just want to geht pihole and OMV running in parallel. Seem i had to inspect technodads -docker -pihole video even more. Sice the recordings, a lot of pihole docker options are changed.

What do you prefer- OMV 4 or 5 for RPI4?

Didnt find any guide how to install OMV 5 on Buster Lite...
    ...just for OMV 4.

Just this one for OMV 4

    Code
    apt-get update
    apt-get upgrade
    apt-get dist-upgrade
    echo "deb http://packages.openmediavault.org/public arrakis main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openmediavault.list
    apt-get update
    apt-get install openmediavault-keyring postfix
    apt-get update
    apt-get install openmediavault
    omv-initsystem
    reboot

Somehow- this seems to work but didnt install.

Ok. So i will give it a try.
I dont want to use the working image- i just want to install OMV.
I´ll try to use the RPI4 for varous things in parallel... swiss army knife style
pihoile (i know there is a docker in OMV, but want to install it seperatly), iobroker and OMV as well. Lets see where the memory goes...
