    Hello,

I finally found a solution in the Plex forums: https://forums.plex.tv/t/raspberry-pi-omv5-and-plex/658872/3

I used the tag :bionic for the image, instead of :latest and now it works correctly.

I have also seen that Plex propose a solution to use its own Docker image for ARM https://github.com/plexinc/pms-docker

Plex logs I can find in Portainer when I restart the Plex container:

Here what I can see with the htop command 👇

I have also identified more problems with Plex.

By using my browser on the url ipaddress:32400/web Plex doesn't find my Plex server. But by using the Plex apps (desktop and mobile) it finds my Plex server and medias can be played. But I have no access to the Plex server parameters...

    Hello,

I run OMV 5.5.19 on a Odroid HC2. Only 2 services are running: SMB/CIF and SSH. At this step the CPU usage is very normal, between 1% and 4%.

I installed Plex on Docker and when Plex in running, the CPU usage go up to 75% until 95%. Even if i'm not streaming something on Plex.

I havn't identified this problem before, I can't say if it happens with the Plex image update made by Watchtower.

I would like to find a solution to reduce the CPU usage to a normal ratio.

Thank you. The job works well to mount dickt after a reboot :)

But the docker solution doesn't work. The docker status stays at "Installed and not running". And when I try to restart it manualy by the GUI i have the error message:

    Hello,

I just came back from holidays and I don't understand what has been changed on my network configuration but I'm unable to access to my NAS.

(During the first days of my holidays I could use my Plex media server installed on the server, then the remote access stopped. I thought that my router has been turned off. But when I came back, the router and the NAS were online.)

I can't access to the OMV web interface. I don't see the NAS on my network. And my connection is refused when I'm trying to access to it by SSH with the terminal.

On my router web interface I can see that the NAS is on the network, its IP address hasn't changed (Angry IP Scanner find it too).

I tried to reboot the NAS, to reboot the router, and to restart the default config of the router. But the problem is still here, no access ?(

If someone has an idea about what happened and how I could resolve it will be very helpfull.

    Thank you ✌️

    Hello,

I would like to update OMV4 installed on my OdroidHC2 to OMV5 (using this script). But before I would like to be sure that my Plex Media Server won’t be broken.

I installed and I maintain Plex Media Server on my machine directly from the command lines as root and not through the OMV web interface (neither plugin nor Docker).

Before upgrading OMV4 to OMV5 it is recommended to uninstall OMV plugins, this is why I’m not sure about the script impact on my Plex Media Server installation.

Maybe I should uninstall Plex before? If someone knows how to migrate securely OMV4 to OMV5 without broke Plex Media Server it could help me 🙂

    Thank you ✌️

    (Plex Media Server Version: 1.20.0.3133)

    Hi,
I also have the Odroid HC1 and HC2. They are perfect as an Plex-Server. What I have done to upgrade to the actual version of Plex is to download the version for ARM achitecture ( its something like plexmediaserver_1.16.xxxxxxxxx_armhf.deb)
Then i installed it on the console with :
    dpkg -i plexmediaserver_1.16.xxxxxxxxx_armhf.deb --force-all

Hi, thank you for your answer. So what you did works well now?

I already tried to installed as root the package plexmediaserver_1.17.0.1812-5ee2fc50a_armhf.deb but I had an error.

Could you tell me which version exactly you arrived to install? And before did you disable the Plex plugin in OMV or did you keep it enable?

    Hello

I'm a newbie with OMV, it's running on an Odroid HC2.

I installed Plex media server by the Plex plugin for OMV. So the Plex media server is version 1.12.1.4885. I would like to update this version, because it's an old one and I meet some troubles by using Plex media player, and with access from outside my network.

This is why I need help, if someone know good resources where to learn how I can replace this version by a newer one.

    Thank you ✌️
