Hi,

i have again a problem. After a long time i startet again my OMV but now it is not booting.
After DHCPDISCOVER it stay with a blinking cursor.
You can click everything on the keyboard it doesnt change.

I have already checked the cable and the connection to my router, but everything is right. Link is there but the link LED on the NIC is also not on.

Please help me fast.

Everything is finde my data is still there and the raid is now with 4 HDDs and in state clean.

I dont have any Backup.

But i do yesterday this.

After this i was in the WebGui of OMV. There i bind sdb in the raid.

i must change my mainboard because of a failure.
Now i have problems with my Raid. There is only 3 of 4 active.

My Motherboard "Asus H87I-PLUS Mini ITX" is still not working. I test everything and then i send it back to the seller.
Now i have a problem that i don't find a german seller, who sell the same Motherboard.

The Raid was created with OMV (Software Raid).

My question is:
1. Can i buy another Motherboard without lose my data or working raid?
2. Which good alternative Motherboards can i buy?

Any suggestions and advice would be most welcome!

I bought a PCIe NIC and now it is working. Now i must wait for using the internal NIC.

Hello everyone,
i am new in this forum.
I want to install OMV on my new NAS system, but i have problems with my network interface.

The ethernet controller is not recognized with OMV 0.5.0.24.
I dont't have any idea, what can i do to install the driver of the ethernet controller.

I have got the following motherboard:
ASUS H87I-Plus
LAN: Intel® I217, 1 x Gigabit LAN Controller(s)
