Device is running 24/7 indeed. Finally bought WD 12TB external hard drive.

Well, I'm not quite sure since most docking stations have only 2 ports for HDD. Thinking about 4TB of storage but not sure how many HDDs. What enclosure would you recommend?

I'm planning on upgrading storage for my OMV NAS (RPi 4 with 8GB RAM) since my external HDD drives are getting full. I was thinking of buying 3.5″ internal HDD drives and adding them to docking station and then connecting the docking station into RPi 4. Would that be wise or is there something better? Any recommendation for internal HDD and HDD docking station is appreciated or better alternative.

Hello everybody.

For the past day or two I've been looking for a way to install Home Assistant with add-ons (renamed to supervisor) on my OMV via docker compose. I've been searching through Home Assistant subreddit as well as HA forum and OMV forum. Unfortunately, I haven't found reliable solution.

Would be really helpful, if somebody has successfully deployed HA with add-ons solution via docker compose and be willing to share compose file.

Manage to solve the problem by installing virtinst package.

EDIT: Unfortunately, I get error message when creating or importing VM.

error: failed to get emulator capabilities 

error: invalid argument: unable to find any emulator to serve 'armv7l' architecture
ERROR    Host does not support any virtualization options

I didn't see any errors during installation. Well, I reinstalled Cockpit and cockpit-machines package. Here's the log.txt.

Thanks for reply. I've installed cockpit-machines package. Virtual Machines section showed up, but unfortunately I cannot create a new VM because virt-install package also needs to be installed, which I cannot find via apt package manager.

I've just installed Cockpit on my OMV server (Raspberry Pi 4) via OMV-Extras. I've logged in as root, well no virtual machine section is showing up.
