Yes, disks are new and no errors in 4 SMART parameters, but can you explain what are errors I posted and was delivered to me from my NAS?

    Hi,

Today I received 2 mail with error from my NAS:

This is info fom my disks:

I have to worry about my files?

    Hi viulian,

How do you achieve consumption only 33W in idle? I have similar components as you but my idle consumption is 51W when disks are not spinning (data disks, system disk is spinning).

    My NAS:
    MSI B85M-E45
    Pentium G3220
    4GB RAM
    4x 2TB WD RED + 1x500GB for OMV (3,5")

    Question for developers:
Is my consumption high because OMV 0.5 is not optimised for Hasswell CPU?

I have OMV 0.5.35 and noticed in boot log:

    Starting OpenMediaVault engine daemon: ERROR.

    When starting manually (omv-engined -d -f):

    Are these errors problem?

    apt-get update

    apt-get upgrade

    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
The following packages have been kept back:
    initramfs-tools
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.

    Still same error

    Nothing... :(

    apt-get remove --purge openmediavault-transmissionbt

Package openmediavault-transmissionbt is not installed, so not removed

    dpkg -l | grep openmediavault

    Code
ii openmediavault 0.5.33 Open network attached storage solution
rc openmediavault-anacron 0.5.3 anacron plugin for OpenMediaVault.
rc openmediavault-aufs 0.5.4 aufs plugin for OpenMediaVault.
rc openmediavault-backup 0.5.1 backup plugin for OpenMediaVault.
ii openmediavault-keyring 0.2 GnuPG archive keys of the OpenMediaVault archive
rc openmediavault-minidlna 0.5.9 OpenMediaVault miniDLNA (DLNA server) plugin
ii openmediavault-nut 0.5.9 OpenMediaVault Network UPS Tools (NUT) plugin
ii openmediavault-omvextrasorg 0.5.38 OMV-Extras.org Package Repositories for OpenMediaVault
ii openmediavault-route 0.5.3 OpenMediaVault IP routing table plugin
rc openmediavault-snapraid 0.5.20 snapraid plugin for OpenMediaVault.

    Script helped :)

But have another problem. When i install OMV-extras.org and click at PLUGINS - after a while of loading:

    Code
Failed to execute command 'export LANG=C; apt-get --simulate --reinstall install openmediavault-transmissionbt 2>&1': Reading package lists... Building dependency tree... Reading state information... Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: openmediavault-transmissionbt : Depends: transmission-daemon (>= 2.42) but 2.03-2 is to be installed Depends: transmission-cli (>= 2.42) but 2.03-2 is to be installed E: Broken packages

    Details:

Transmission plugin has not been installed before.

When i execute script with uninstall I get this:

    Code
    Removing files ...
    /usr/share/openmediavault/scripts/collectd.d/df-alltogether not found!
    /var/www/openmediavault/js/omv/module/admin/SystemInfo.js.backup not found!
    script is not installed!
    Removing completed!
    Have fun!

But webUI is still not working with same error as above.

I have backup from backup script - can i copy some folders back? Or what else can I do?

    Hi,

i tried to install this script to my OMV 0.5.33. But after starting install script i cannot login to web UI. I can insert login (name/password) but after that it wrote:

    Code
    Error #0:
exception 'Exception' with message 'Failed to open file js/omv/NavigationPanel.js.' in /usr/share/php/openmediavault/htmlpage.inc:42
    Stack trace:

    #4 /var/www/openmediavault/index.php(37): OMVHtmlPage->render()

What can i do to repair my OMV?
    Thank you for any help

jhmiller, I have Intel Pentium G3220, MB MSI B85M-E45, 4GB RAM, 500GB drive for OMV, 3x2TB WD RED (SnapRAID)
OMV is OMV 0.5.31 (Sardaukar) with plugins:
    -Anacron
    -aufs
    -backup
    -miniDLNA
    -NUT
    -OMV-extras
    -route
    -SnapRAID

I tried install OMV with pyLoad on a VM but with same slow web UI (another computer with VM).
I Found this for pyLoad: http://forum.pyload.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=811 but I don't know if it is applicable in OMV. If yes then I ask how?

At first i thank all of you who develop OMV and plugins. Great job!

    I have one issue:
Have OMV 0.5.31 (Sardaukar) with PyLoad plugin. After install it appear on web UI. When i select this plugin it took so long to load web interface. Same if i open PyLoad web UI on separate page with mynasip:port. If i click on any link in PyLoad interface loading times are 10-30 sec.

Can someone help me how to speed up web UI if it is possibe?

Thank you for great job on OMV

PS: I am newbie on OMV and Linux, but i am learning... And sorry for my english.
