Maybe now, the disk is going into sleep and doesn't wake up properly

I was think same, may be disc is going into sleep mode due to inactivity for too long. I was using file server quite frequently earlier but lately I have not been using it that frequently.

Its a Seagate USB Hub Backup Drive that I have connected to my RPI, so I used Seagates Dashboard to change the sleeping settings to “Never” and hoping that will resolve.

fingers crossed ... will update accordingly

Update: its been few days since I have changed sleep settings of HD and no issues till now Samba is stable and working.

    Hello,

I am running omv on raspberry pi 4 with one USB HD connected to it for file backup as samba server. Since last few weeks, I regularly need to reboot my rpi every other day as i am unable to access server from other devices.

OMVs webui works fine and later i found that it stops detecting disks/file systems and it shows connection error after a long wait at "loading..." But It starts working fine after manual reboot.

have attached log file and output of fdisk

    Files

    • syslog-2.txt

      (47.44 kB, downloaded 14 times, last: )

    sudo systemctl start systemd-resolved

    sudo systemctl enable systemd-resolved

    Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/dbus-org.freedesktop.resolve1.service → /lib/systemd/system/systemd-resolved.service.

    Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/systemd-resolved.service → /lib/systemd/system/systemd-resolved.service.

Thank You Sir .... It worked

    What is the output of:

    systemctl status systemd-resolved

I tried pinging 8.8.8.8 by ssh and it works

please help ... I can't figure out what's the problem here

There are lots of ways to do it. Depends on how you are deploying. If you are using docker-compose, you can just do a docker-compose pull then docker-compose restart. If you are just using docker, stop the container, remove it, remove the image, pull the image, then start your container again.

thanks for the reply but I am just noobs to this docker thing

I followed this video to install the controller

    Video

I tried recreating container and pulling the image but I get errors

update: I deleted container and image and fetched a new one ... it worked and my old settings were intact. Thanks

    I found the solution

In unifi network Settings > Controller check "Override inform host with controller hostname/IP" and "Make controller discoverable on L2 network", put the IP of the adress bar in "Controller Hostname/IP" > Apply changes.

Then reconect the AP and adopt it, and shure it goes to provisioning and connected. Next undo the 2 check steps in settings.

Found it on ubiquiti community https://community.ui.com/quest…e3-4345-9784-b8d568f9eca3

    Hello

    I am new to OMV,

Today I installed Unifi controller in portainer everything went fine and I restored my old controller settings to the to newly installed one, but I am not able to adopt my AP in Unifi Controller. It start adopting but gets disconnected and same thing is running in loop. Do I need to reset my devices and adopt them again? or have I done something wrong during installation.

    I followed this video
