    i tested it on the laptop with hotspot mobile, http://www.myip.com:4040. its connect to the airsonic server.

    So the port seems to work.

    If i copy and paste the my server adress en paste it on firefox its make also connection to the airsonic server...

    So its looks like the app has a issue.

    have to look further

    at last i have it working, :)

    I can play the music folder from my pc.

    Now i have a next issue to get it on the telephone.

    I tried several players, airplayer, Xenoamp, ultrasonic, i and i have the same issue.

    I can make contact with OpenmediaVault, in lan connection and also outside the lan (4G)

    When i test the connection it says it oke, but its not synchronised with OMV.

    I opened the port 4040 in the router, but its not a solution.


    Sorry, maybe its something simple, but i am a new starter with trying starting a NAS

    I hope someone can help me with it

    i have a lot of music and i like it to listen with my earphone connect it on my telefone .

    But i can't find a good plugin.

    what are recommend for this?

    i installed from Docker the NZBGet , it ask for user and password.

    if i look at the forum it just must be both openmediavault.

    But its not working.

    Do someone know the right one?

  • is my old Synology better than the new build OMV nas?

    i have a old synology DS214play with i think it has less configuration than the OMV I have makes from mine old mediaplayer, i have image in the post.

    DS214 - CPU INTEL Atom CE5335 1.6 GHz 1Gb Ram

    OMV - CPU INTEL i3- 4130T 2.90 Ghz 8 Gb Ram

    The configuration i have is , the NAS is connected with UTP to the router.

    The Television is also connected with UTP on the router.

    Look movie through Kodi how is connnected to the NAS.

    I notice that looking through the DS214 is smooth, no buffering and playing nice.

    With the OMV the same option but its buffering a lot,

    Do have to do something else or tweak something?

  • introduce newbee OMV and a question

    My name is Ron and i started with openmediavault last week and i am a newbee about it.

    I had a mediacenter in the past and i put now OMV on it, with a SSD card and a HDD in combination mini ITX board and a i3 4130T CPU

    I live in the netherlands and i hope i get te support here if i have some questions.


    And this is my first question, i have put SAB nzb in it, and i want to change the path to the HDD and cannot figure out how i have the do this.

    The HHD is called NAS. and there is make a folder Download.

    How can i make the path to that folder?
