I found something very odd. In the ZFS pools tab I only see my existing filesystems etc. Everything is correct. However in the Filesystem tab I have duplicate entries for two of my filesystems from ZFS and in the shared folder drop down menu I also have those duplicates. How can I fix that?

So now the pool is imported? Everything works correctly?
According to this error the database is empty, it does not exist.
Seems to be working, I also do not get the error anymore. I will report if something changes.

So my flow was a follows:
1. Install OMV 6 in uefi mode with usb stick
2. Boot into OMV 6
In Cli:
3. Install OMV-Extras
7. Install some additional packages via apt-get install (rclone, vim, htop, git)
8. git clone this repo https://github.com/bahamas10/zfs-prune-snapshots
In GUI:
3. Change Workbench, date, notification, power management, certificates settings.
4. Create Users and groups (appuser for docker etc.)
5. ctr-shift-r and head to OMV-extras
6. Install kernel and backup module
9. In kernel tab install promox 6.12 kernel and reboot into this kernel
10. Delete other kernels
11. Install zfs plugin
12. Force import all ZFS pools
13. Got this error. But it only showed up once. Now it never showed up again.

I reinstalled OMV 6 and when I force import my ZFS pools the error occurs.

No, I didn't edit config files manually.
But I resized the root partition and filesystem with gparted. Could this have caused some issues?

Hi there
I have another problem with the OMV 6 webui. If I go to the ZFS Pool tab the webui asks me to apply the following changes:
CodePending configuration changes You must apply these changes in order for them to take effect. The following modules will be updated: samba sharedfolders systemd
Then I click apply and get these errors and the whole process repeats itself.

Hi there
I need your advise. Would you rather choose a better motherboard (Asrock Z97 OC Formula) which has problems with booting OMV 6 UEFI and therefore I would need to install OMV 6 in legacy mode or would you choose a worse motherboard (Asus H87M-Pro) which has no problems with booting OMV 6 UEFI. They both use similiar amount of power.
Thank you in advance for your advice! Have a nice day.
-
No errors. Just warnings.
With OMV 6.x, I had to move the proxmox functions to the openmediavault-kernel plugin. So, install that.
Thank you for your help. I went the save route and installed everything from scratch.
-
Your upgrade did not go well. Run the fix5to6upgrade script (search the forum for it). You may have to re-install the build-essentials package. You definitely need to install the omv 6 proxmox kernel since you are still using the omv 5 proxmox kernel from your output.
Thank you for your answer. I did run the script and got these errors:
Code
Display MoreRebuild apt index ... Creating index of upgradeable packages ... Creating index of plugins ... Rebuild OMV pam config ... Furthermore, how can I manually install the correct Promox kernel via CLI, because via WebUI I do not have the option to do so.
I got it, I followed these instructions.

Hi
I just upgraded to OMV6 and wanted to reinstall my Nvidia Drivers for HW Transcoding within docker for my Plex Server. I followed your great tutorial but when compiling the drivers I get these errors:

I found this thread on this error. Is this the right approach and if so, how can I fix it exactly? Thank you for your feedback.

Thank you for the link and clarification!

Thank you for your response.
What do I need to look out for to detect a failing drive? I only looked at theReallocated_Event_Count.
And yes I'm aware of my data loss if one drive fails.

Hi there
I have a problem with my Raid 0/Stripe Array. One disk /dev/sde is causing some strange errors and my syslog gets filled up like crazy. I really don't know what the problem is.
But I have observed two strange things with my array.- At some point in time OMV reported that my array (md127) wasn't mounted, but it was still browsable from the terminal. (almost no files where there but part of the folder structure was)
- Due to some errors my array gets remounted in read-only mode.
- My drive /dev/sde has one out of spec value reported by S.M.A.R.T.
