    Thanks ^^

I will change my hardware next year anyway.

Yes, I am planning to buy better hardware next year maybe.

But for now I am just experimenting with pi.

    On running :

    Code
    ls -a /dev/

    I can see several /dev/video1X , i.e.

    video10, video11...... and so on to video31.

So I have to add all those devices...?

(Sorry I am new at this)

If you are using the linuxserver docker image for jellyfin, they made the setup pretty simple:

    https://github.com/linuxserver…yfin#openmax-raspberry-pi

It seems that Jellyfin has dropped support for hardware encoding via OMX libraries as Raspberry Pi is migrating to V4L2.

Jellyfin already has support for V4L2 but many features will not work properly as per their docs.

Also, Portainer IO has given support to add GPU to a specific environment and then attach it to containers as per need.

But adding GPU to a environment requires Index number or UUID if GPU.

Any idea how to find gpu uuid in raspberry pi 4..?

    Hi,

I have just setup jellyfin in docker (raspberry pi 4) and I am able to access it over internet.

As jellyfin has option to transcode videos for internet, I want to setup hardware encoding using raspberry pi's gpu.

How to add gpu to docker?

Without hardware encoding, cpu usage reaches almost 90%.

    Please guide. :)

    Post now the output of

     docker logs -f swag

And can you see the swag park page when you go to https://www.yourduckdns.org

Whenever I open jellyfin.axxxxxxxxx.duckdns.org, "Welcome to SWAG instance" page is displayed instead of jellyfin page.

Maybe it is not redirecting to the specified port 8096...?

    Here are the logs :

That looks nothing like a stack.

    This is a proper stack:

Now make a portforward on the router from WAN 80 to OMV ip LAN 5080 && WAN 443 to OMV ip LAN 5443

    I had already done that.

    This is the stack :

I have done as you told.

Still its showing SWAG instance only.

Its not redirecting to Jellyfin. :(

ok, well you need to fix that first....

Gimme just a minute.. I'm fixing my breakfast.

If you have discord, come to the discord channel in my link and I'll talk you through it there if you like.

I am not on discord yet.

    Take your time. :)

I have finally fixed the certificate issue in swag. The certificate is downloaded and log says server ready. :)

On accessing via domainname.duckdns.org, "Welcome to SWAG instance page" is shown.

Now how to redirect it to jellyfin.

You shouldn't really have to edit anything. Again did you get a cert with swag? If you didn't then that needs to be fixed.

can you go to https://www.yoursubdomain.duckdns.org and is the page secured? (padlock by the URL)

I am unable to get a cert.

This is the log from swag:
