What does this mean? Is it anything to be worried about? It seems to say things weren't upgraded for some reason.

Here is the pastebin. I have no idea what I am looking at but it looks like there are errors or something. I pasted from where it looks like the errors started to when I flipped the switch and restarted this morning.

I can do that. should I also upload it here in some way? The problemis I don't really know what I"m looking at. For all I know its not dying, just stalling in some way. Portainer seemed to still be up this morning, just extremely extremely sluggish although the GUI for OMV was dead.

This is what I have for excludes but they don't appear to be working as it keeps talking about config files. Do you know what I'm doing wrong? Please advise if there is something else that I can show to make it easier.

I’m not sure what you are saying. What does my hardware have to do with it? I’m trying to figure out if most people are just using snap raid for media and not the the config files. I had to move the config folders for plex and Jellyfin off the system drive as they would fill it up. But when I do snap raid I usually get things saying that files are changing and shouldn’t be when snap raid is working usually the plex/jellyfin library files

curious as to how other people are using snapraid or if there is a better way. Currently I have my mergerfs setup with tv shows folder and movies folder. I also have a config folder as I figured it would be better. I've tried to just exclude the config folders from the snapraid but no matter what I do I don't have success although I'm not sure if I should be getting rid of them or I should just be snap raiding everything. Snap raid tends to take forever so I been trying to find a way to make it quicker especially since my server is essentially unwatchable while it runs.

I setup scheduled reboot for every day at 5am. I tested it by hitting the play button and it worked, but looking at the logs I don't seem to see a reboot, How do I tell for sure it is rebooting? The uptime shown in the logs seems to support the fact that it didn't reboot, but I'd like to confirm.

Snapraid was emailing for probably over a year. I had to run snapraid fix and along that time I got rid of the scheduled task and readded the task, from the logs snapraid appears to be running, but I no longer get an email. I found my old thread from over a year ago that says it gets the info from OMV. OMV is emailing every day so I know that part is working. Do I need to fix anything in the script so I will get emailed again?

I don’t use snapraid, so not sure how it works, so just tossing out an idea, but can you not use the reset permissions plugin on the shared folders? It should reset the ownership and permissions back to the default that omv uses, without having to delve into the CLI, as you don’t sound like you are too comfortable navigating your way around there.

I tested and it looks like that might have done the trick! Thanks, still would like to learn the command line.

okay so I can copy and paste to the shares sort of, new files and such can go on the drive, any of the old stuff is all not letting me move the stuff. The permissions are obviously messed up, Is there a simple way to repermission all the files? The ones with issues look like the below. The ones without issues look like the one below that. Basically newly downloaded is okay, on there from before the snapraid fix is messed up.
