I know but I’m scared. Every time I do an update it manages to massively break portauner and lead to hours of trying to fix and getting help from nice people like you

Currently using old mining motherboard and 6th gen cpu plus old nvidia gpu. Would like newer cpu for Plex/jellyfin transcoding. I have a server case with a number of hard drives. Is there an inexpensive solution? I was looking at an n100. But then what do I do with all the drives?

I did find that one of my drives went bad, but not sure if that is causing all of the problems or not.

Past few days I've needed to reboot the machine to get it to access the shares. Tonight it was like 5 times to get it access the shares. its working again now, but each time its happened I noticed the cpu usage graph all yellow like you see there. When I go to look at processes though, they look fairly normal and cpu utilization is usually around 44% I checked my system drive and its at 81% utilization as I thought maybe it was full and causing a problem. Any ideas on what I can check?

What specifically do I put for the command?

I see the daily reboot command but not a place to specify 3am each day. Is that possible?

I have omv 6. So if I change motherboard/cpu. It should still boot up?
By breaking with patches. I think last time something happened that messed up docker and jelly fin. I know I regret doing patches every time

As subject says, if I upgrade the motherboard/CPU for better transcoding, is there a way to keep everything the same without reinstalling? With windows I would typically have to reinstall the operating system.
Related question, if I upgrade to Version 7, is there a way to upgrade and ensure I keep everything without having to start over? Everytime I seem to install a patch everything seems to break.

Found this in another thread with people having an error on Mergerfs from 2 years ago. My mergerfs is now working again. One of my folders I can't access yet again with username/password, but I don't know that I have the strength to fight that battle again.
And now this:
sudo salt-call -l debug --local --retcode-passthrough state.apply omv.deploy.mergerfs
-
And now this:
sudo salt-call -l debug --local --retcode-passthrough state.apply omv.deploy.mergerfs
just wanted to say I was having a similar error after updating and my mergerfs was all screwed up, I follwed a couple of the code you posted, but after this one it is working again.

so bascially all the folders that are not working are shared as Mediacombine on mergerfs, the one that is working is not mergerfs. How do I fix mergerfs?
-
got this last night I see. Never did that before with the error.
-
In windows Explorer is all the folders. One of them is system. Shared that a while back as a test. It is working the rest either don’t allow access or are blank.
-
Not sure how I would do that. The movies and tvshows and I think most of the others are mergerfs /snapraid shares

I ran the updates on OMV 6 tonight and as my luck goes it screwed everything up, First was Jellyfin not loading on portainer, that seemed to fix itself with a reboot, but now my main media folders are opening with no files in them. I attached a screenshot of the folders I have shared. Movies and TVshows have thousands of files and the folders are now opening up blank on the share. Mypictures is not allowing me access anymore even though I know I'm putting in the right credentials. The rest are not working either except system which is letting me in and I can go to the shared drives and open the movies folder/TV shows etc and the files are there, same for Qbittorent. I have literally changed nothing but put the patches in place. What can I do to fix this?
