When your hardware is supported, you just need to activate HW Transcoding in your Plex Settings.

hier greift der Schutz, nix dummes zu machen:
Geräte, die mittels USB angeschlossen sind, werden nicht aufgelistet (zu unzuverlässig).
Ohne OMV grundlegend zu verbiegen, wirst du da auch nicht mit deinen USB Platten drüber hinweg kommen. Ganz zu schweigen davon, dass du bei etwaigen Problemen hier im Forum sicher niemals Hilfe dafür erhalten würdest...Darum meine Frage: Warum krampfhaft RAID1? Was erhoffst du dir dadurch? Eventuell gibt es ja auch eine andere Lösung.

No offense but just "format and new installation" will help nobody. Not you to identify the problem and nobody else who might run into that problem in the future...

Um deine Nextcloud Maschine kann ich mich nicht kümmern. Da solltest du aber auch irgendeine Freigabe machen können. Bzw. musst du das.

I´m pretty sure ryecoaaron would not say it is complicated if it is not. Either way - Docker is the preferrable way to go. If you do like that, you can port the plugin to 5.x, of course. It is always good to have more plugin developers

It is an old 256GB SSD I had layin around after upgrading a notebook. Nothing special. I just bought an external SSD Case and put it in.

You don´t need to use Portainer. Docker works as before. So you can still use CLI to do everything.

Na das kann ich dir nicht sagen, ich weiß ja nicht, welche shared folders du in deinem OMV angelegt hast.
Ehrlich gesagt würde ich dir stark empfehlen auf eine Anleitung von irgendjemandem zu warten. Denn für mich sieht es so aus als wolltest du OMV und Docker mit Plex nutzen, hast aber 0 Ahnung von den kleinsten Schritten - no offense. Aber du solltest vielleicht erstmal die Basics erarbeiten.
