Same here, can't find it in OMV-extras testing. Figured I was doing something wrong too. I'm running OMV 2 with latest updates.

Maybe a typo here? I just get a >
Yes sorry. For today's nightly use this
wget http://downloads.slimdevices.c…_7.9.0~1435222036_all.deb
If you want the newest 7.9 nightly in the future check this page for the link http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.9
There is a way to grab the latest nightly with this link http://www.mysqueezebox.com/update/?version=7.9.0&revision=1&geturl=1&%20lms_deb=$
But I am missing something- maybe someone will post the correct syntax.
Hi, Your script is supposed to be used to modify the LMS start up script. If you enter it line by line it won't work! Reading the threads on the squeeze forums about the Debian repo, it seems that this script may be added to LMS.
However it is simple to install/upgrade LMS from the command line- personally I never found the LMS repo reliable so I always just downloaded it.
1. Login to OMV, enter: mkdir scratch
2. Enter: cd scratch
3. Enter: wget wget -q -O - "http://www.mysqueezebox.com/update/?version=7.9.0&revision=1&geturl=1&
Change the version to the one you are using- this is important (7.7.x, 7.8 or 7.9) This downloads the latest deb file to the scratch folder. If this doesn't pull down LMS use the direct link from the nightly download page.
4. Install it with: dpkg -i the_exact_filename_you_downloaded.deb
To install a new version start at step 2.
I need to report that if that's true. Did they find a fix for that?
Edit - nm you saw the fix
Weird, I thought JanN had tried ACHI mode and it was not working. Maybe he has issue with his machine or there is something to disconnecting the power? It seems once set in bios it should just work period.
Yeah in the other forum thread I linked there is mention of an iLo issue when you upgrade- it won't boot sd card. I don't know anything about that issue but the people there seem to know the server inside out.
I could have sworn he already tried AHCI mode. I think I'll have to make a separate thread with FAQs for this server, this thread is so hijacked at this point that is hard to keep track of anything.
Yeah, he was told he needed AHCI mode, maybe he didn't understand at first.

I think Patchouli figured it out see here http://homeservershow.com/foru…9383-cant-install-any-os/
Nobody have an idea of what can i do ?
Is this your thread? If not potential work around here http://homeservershow.com/foru…n-gen8-1610t-due-to-grub/
The drive with OMV on it needs to be in slot one of the drive cage when using the b120i. If the system drive is in any other slot it won't boot.
Hi you want AHCI mode on, which looks like you have based on your picture. Your OMV system disk needs to be in slot 1 of the hard drive cage. Any other slot, it won't boot automatically.
#1 the document and posters here are very clear on USB stick without wear levelling: it will fail.
#2 Keep backups if your data is important.
#3 These forums are very good IME, sorry your experience wasn't the same. Personally I think your complaints are totally misplaced.
Hi, I don't think anyone here can say any softwares will install 100% safe.
In my experience additional software has installed perfect, this is one of the best things about OMV. I haven't installed the no-ip however.
If you have a live server with your data on it, best practice to test on test server/VM. Make sure important data is backed up.
Hi, Crashplan installs fine on OMV following the Code42 linux instructions or the tutorial here on OMV forums. Give it a try.
It still won't stick.
I have restarted the server and SAB and everything but no success. How do you solve this?
Also make sure the queue is cleared and the temporary (incomplete) folder is clear.
