    Hi everyone,
i have tried to install Nextcloud with the mentioned method on page 1but ass i was progressing through the installation i collided with some problems.
    I'm running OMV 3.0.35, MySQL 3.0.3 and Nginx 3.0.5!
    1. when i create the Folders for MySQL and Nginx i see they are not referenced (Screen 2)
    2. When i try to point MySQL for the DB Folder i created there is not a Database Folder option in MySQL (Screen 3)
    3. After the inserting the file setup-nextcloud.php in www/nextcloud i get the Error Message in Screen 1 when i tried to run it.
Can somebody point me in the right direction?
    Best regards!

    Hi Subzero79,
Thank you for your concern and sorry for the late response but i wasn't able to write earlier. I couldn't find any solution to my problem and finally took general decision of reinstalling OMV and moved to OMV 3. The problem got solved.
I think it was a DHCP Server problem on WiFi connection after the last update. Still i am not sure if that's the case but when i plugged the LAN cable instead of WIFI everything was working perfectly.
P.S. i have never used the auto-shutdown plugin and it wasn't enabled.
    Best Regards

    Hi to Everyone,
after i updated my OMV my System started to shutdown unexpectedly after a few minutes. I thought it might be a Hardware-Problem and ran a couple of tests but the HW is intact. So the Problem should be the Software.
After Starting the OMV comes first the Monitor-screen in Pic 1, afterwards comes Pic 2 and den after a while comes Pic 3 und Pic 4 and the System shuts down.
I´m a newbie in Linux but i think it has to do with some kind of update to dhcpserver and it demands a LAN-Connection(Mine is Etho1). I run my server through Etho0 which is my WiFi Adapter.
Can somebody help me or i need to reinstall a fresh copy of OMV?
Thanks in advance and sorry for the Pictures, i couldn't manage to take Screenshots ...
    Best regards

I've installed the driver but still i can't select a Interface.
    root@OMVHomeServer:~# ifconfig

The WiFi adapter is nowhere to be found....

I've done clean install of OMV, the kernel is still 3.2(root@OMVHomeServer:~# uname -a
Linux OMVHomeServer 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.68-1+deb7u3 x86_64 GNU/Linux) and managed to install omv-extras plugin after the installation. So far so good... but WiFi interface isn't present. Should i try apt-get -f install now?
or its better to load iwlwifi-7260 driver from the post from reycoaaron?
There is no backports in omv-extras....
Under OMV/OMV-extras.org/Kernel is a Button that says +Install Backposrts 3.16 Kernel should i try it?
Thank YOU for the support and the quick response.

    It says :
    root@OMVHomeServer:~# uname -a
    Linux OMVHomeServer 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.68-1+deb7u3 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Then i tried to install omv-extras but there was an error msg:

I finally got it and manage to ssh into my OMV Rig with the root account. Everything downloaded without problems. Now I wanted to start using my wifi adapter but there was the same problem: I went to Network/Interface/Add/WiFi and there i can not find WiFi Device to set to. I thought it was because the driver was not installed and OMV did not recognize my WiFi Adapter but obviously the problem lies somewhere else. It is possible that i am doing something wrong in trying to enable my WiFi Card.
Can somebody help me with a little clue how can I solve this?
    Best regards!

    Hallo again,
Thanks for the reply since yesterday i am trying to log in as root(yes i know it very easy but for me isn't as i said i am a Linux newbie) and have tried everything. Probably i am doing something wrong so i'll describe what i'm doing:
    1. Starting the Rig
    2. Then comes the Menu GNU GRUB 1.99-27+deb7u2 and i press c for commandline
    3. It comes grub> command line and here i'm trying to go to root (Su, sudo, root are not working - i'm getting error msg)
    4. Error: unknown command 'sudo', 'cd', 'su' etc.
Can someone help me a bit here pls....
    Best regards
