I am actually using a Mac and found it easy to run SSH via the terminal, (much easier than I thought)

Anyway so no I know how to easily access my server I now need to get the correct command to run to install the software.

The one suggested gave me the following message

Do you have any idea what that means and where I can find the correct command?

Can you help find out what is going on as it looks like it didn't install properly

Hello,

I am hoping to find someone who can actor as a guide and a mentor as servers and linux is fairly new to me.

I am trying to install Logitech Media Server and in another thread I have been advised that I need to use SSH to run the install.

I need some support to install the software over SSH and wondered if anyone is willing to help me and guide me with this?

So far I have enabled the SSH on my OMV (See picture below) but I am not sure what to do next.

To manage Linux servers (OMV is one of those) you need shell access @EDIT because GUI can not do everything you want.
In OMV you must activate SSH service and grant user ssh group.

I have a Raspberry Pi computer and I used SSH to run remote commands.

I am using a HP Microserver |N54L and I think I have downloaded the correct package, I downloaded the Logitech Media Server: Debian Installer Package (i386, x86_64, ARM EABI, PowerPC)

I have not used the terminal before can you help me understand how to execute

I am hoping that what I have written above is what I need to do to get it running?

I am looking at setting up multiroom audio using a few Raspberry Pi computer.

The first step is to install Logitech Media Server on to the computer that has all your music on.

I have all my media on my server that is running Open Media Vault so I want to know,

1. Is it possible to install Logitech Media server on to Open Media Vault?

2. (If it is possible) How do I install Logitech Media Server on to Open Media Vault?

If you need to know anything else from my end please just ask me and I will reply.

I have installed open media vault extras but Subsonic isn't appearing as an installable plugin. Can anyone shed any light on why it is not there or how I can get it to appear?

I would like to install LibreSonic on my Open Media Vault (OMV) Server.

The files exist here in GitHub

How can I find out if the are compatible with OMV and how would I go about installing it?

Hello I am running PLEX Server on Open Media Vault.

When I try to set up my libraries I can see my Open Media Vault (NAS) Server. I can see a folder called 'Storage' but inside 'Storage' I have a have a folder called 'Music' and the 'Music' folder isn't showing.

Any thoughts on what I can do?
