How can I set up the bond if I can't have the nic Connected??

Have a computer With 2 nic, both Connected and working. Have set up both With static ipadr, but when I try to add a bond, none card is appearing in the list. What could be wrong??

Have you tried to disable serial and parallell ports in bios?? Mine hang when these ports was enabled.

Have made a *.bat file which I start when the computer starts. In this file I have the following lines;

net use z: \\192.168.2.10\Hansdir /user:Hans 19ol19
net use x: \\192.168.2.10\Fellesdir /user:Hans 19ol19

but when the second line is executed, it fails with an error that shares can't login with the same name to the same shares. But if I add a network drive, and use the same info, it Works great. Why??

I have set up all the user in priviliges not ACL, is that the problem?? Should it be in both??

Have been reading many posts on the forum, and everybody say that we should only use privileges to set the rights on shared folders. So I also tried that, but I only got it to work when I set the ACL.

When I have setup the privileges i tried to login to the shared folder using win7, and mapped a drive like \\192.168.1.100\Mydir, and login With my username and password, but it didn't worked. Then I gave my user all rights in ACL for the shared folder, and I could login to the shared folder at once. Thought maybee it just have hang some, so tried to remove the ACL again, and then I couldn't login again.

Why is it that I have to use the ACL and everybody else just tells that we should only use the privileges??

When I run umount, it says that it isn't mounted. When I run mdadm it comes with an error about can't get exclusive access. And when I run the fuser, a long list appear.

Looks like a service is running, but how to find out which, and how to kill it??

Ok, yes see that now. I think it was a filesystem for the raid, beacuse if I try to delete the raid I get the following error;

Failed to execute command 'omv-rmraid /dev/md127': mdadm: Cannot get exclusive access to /dev/md127:Perhaps a running process, mounted filesystem or active volume Group?

is that because it is degraded, or what should I do to fix that so I can delete the raid??

I remember when I install this system, and boot up I got something like firmware bug cpu1, could it be from that??

The raid is Mirror, but it shows only one disk in it. Under physical disk everything looks great.

This time I just want to remove the filesystem and the raid, and build it up from scratch. But I also want to know how to do if that is happend with a system where I need to keep the data.

It did go and go for about 30-35min, then I unplug the power and start again everything started ok. I also tried a reboot and not a problem this time. The hardware is completely new, but it could be some bad hardware nevertheless.

Should I be worry, or think it just was a bad time??

have build a new computer and installed omv again. On the old omv raid has disk sdb and sdc and the omv disk had sda, but one the new one, omv disk got sdc. If I look in the filesystem tab, a filesystem is listed, but i can't do anything with it, not delete, mount, etc. Also the raid is not looking right.

What can I do to fix this??

After rebooting omv shows the Picture I Attached on the screen. It keeps switching the number on the left side, and so far it has been doing it for 5 minutes.

What does this mean??

Just one question; if I won't to Upgrade from 0.5.60 to 1.6 on a another omv I have, will the following order be correct??
1. Unplug raid disks
2. Install and Upgrade like in your last post
3. Plug in the raid disks

Will the raid, filesystem and shared folders be Automatic recognized??

Is it possible to get a description how to install wheezy and omv on top??
