Replied to the thread OMV 5.x I am using UFS drive storage, says its full but I have lots of space left..Post(Quote from crashtest)
One way to solve it would be for OMV to automatically create the folder on the second disk when the first one is full. It would be a transparent process for the user maintaining the Existing Path, most free space policy. -

Using google for translating can produce strange results. (I know this from experience.) You're doing very well. -

The default setting is "epmfs (existing path, most free space)".
When the first disk is full, users do not know what to do to fill the second. You have to change the policy to continue filling. I have seen multiple threads with the same… -

Replied to the thread OMV 5.x I am using UFS drive storage, says its full but I have lots of space left..PostWhat policy do you have in UFS configuration?
If you have a path preserving policy, you must manually create the folder on the second disk, or change the UFS policy to one that does not preserve path.

Posted the thread OMV 5.x How to install "docker" in a folder of a dedicated disk with clicks.ThreadHow to install "docker" in a folder of a dedicated disk with clicks, for newbies like me who don't like the command line too much.
In my case the reason for doing this is that Jellyfin would not let me install the "config" folder in a SnapRaid array with… -

Replied to the thread OMV 5.x repair snapraid array with error after syncing.PostFinally I made a multi-disk backup that I was able to empty. I have removed the 2TB disk from the SnapRaid that I don't need at the moment and I have left it in 5TB parity and 5TB + 4TB + 4TB data. I have restarted the array and everything seems to be… -

Replied to the thread OMV 5.x Backup configuration with snapraid and rsync. Fix silent corruption?.PostThanks for answering.
I think I have not explained well. How SnapRaid works I think I understand, if I use snapraid on OMV database I will have protection against silent corruption.
What I don't know is how rsync will act when it does the backup. Let's say… -

Replied to the thread OMV 5.x No connection OMV after setting up network settings.PostI did not do any network configuration in OMV. The router's DHCP server provides the connection settings to the computer and nothing else is necessary. I have Jellyfin installed in docker and it works for me without problems. -

Replied to the thread OMV 5.x No connection OMV after setting up network settings.PostI suggest trying to assign the IP to the equipment from the router itself, if it gives you the option, it is only necessary to know the MAC address of the equipment. -

Have you checked the smart stat's on your drives? If there are hardware errors involved, generally speaking, that might be why you can't run a sync. Under Storage, SMART, enable SMART. Then run some device tests. In your case, off-line LONG tests…
