Plex Server doesn't run on fresh install

Hi,

I recently installed openmediaserver and I really like it! But, I have problem setting-up plex so I'm hoping someone can help sort it out..

I installed the plex-plugin via the omv-extra, enabled it and picked a hard drive for the database folder. In the services tab, it shows that plex is enabled but not running.

Tried the following with no luck:
root@openmediavault:~# service plexmediaserver start
Starting Plex Media Server: done
root@openmediavault:~# service plexmediaserver status
It seems that Plex Media Server isn't running (no process found).

Then I tried the following plus reboot:
update-rc.d plexmediaserver defaults

Didn't work so I reinstalled OMV again to have a completely clean copy. I only had one small HD that I wiped via OMV GUI and put on EXT4. Still no luck

OK found some other instructions on the forum that I didn't see before. CPU is an old AMD.

Followed the instructions here, but didn't work:
Plex installed with red dot

Installed OMV on another newever machine and no problem at all to get PLEX working. Happy!

@tekkb - Thanks for the input. The CPU is one of the early 64bits, but the powersupply started to get bad so I decided to buy a complete new server instead to get a more powerful server to play with. I may set-up a second low power OMV server later on perhaps using one of Odroid boards.
