I am new here and I am looking into replacing my Buffalo Terastation Pro for a system such as this. I would like to know if anyone has ever had any experience moving the physical drives from a Buffalo Terastation Pro in RAID 5 configuration to a CPU with a LSI Megaraid RAID card and OMV.
My specific question is if it will work. Buffalo uses XFS and a slim Linux kernel in their hardware. I would like to mount these drives and get them to work without dataloss, outside the NAS. This is because my NAS has gone down for the count and I need to keep access to the data.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
