Hello,
i have a problem with my home-server.
After a view days, the hostname / servicename gets a number at the end, that counts up over more days.
After Reboot, the hostname is 'Home-Server - SMB/CIFS', as it should be.
A few days later the Hostname change to 'Home-Server-2 - SMB/CIFS', and then to 'Home-Server-3 - SMB/CIFS' and so on.
Why does the Hostname counts up ??
Applications reading or writing Data from the server share via hostname can't find the Server any more and i have to reboot the server.
Can anybody help ?
