Hi All,
I'm wondering whether anyone has any clues about, or has seen, inode xattr problems with the "thumbs.db" files that Windoze likes to hide in any folder that contains image files...
I've had a number of complaints from OMV (3.0) on reboots recently about filesystem issues with my main data RAID set (RAID 1, ext4fs); all have been "corrupted in-inode xattr" errors. Unfortunately they stop the Debian boot sequence and need manual intervention before my NAS is back online. Every time when I look up which file the offending inode relates to, it's a "thumbs.db" somewhere in the filesystem.
What is it about these files that creates extended attribute errors?! Wretched things are causing me a headache!
Any ideas?
Thanks!
