Hi folks,
I seem to have a problem with the aliases in Dnsmasq static entries.
I'm using the Dnsmasq plugin as DHCP and DNS server in my internal network.
Let's say I have configured my internal domain name to "domain.local".
Now I've configured a static entry "host1" for IP adress 192.168.0.10 and an alias (Other Names) "alias1".
If I do an nslookup to 192.168.0.10 i get the correct reply "host1.domain.local" with IP adress 192.168.0.10.
If I do an nslookup to "host1" I also get the correct reply: "host1.domain.local" with IP adress 192.168.0.10.
But if i do an nslookup to "alias1" or "alias1.domain.local" I get the result: "host1" with IP adress 192.168.0.10.
So it is missing the domain name.
I think this is a bug, isn't it?
Here's a cutout from the omv-dnsmasq config file under /etv/dnsmasq.d/omv.conf:
Shouldn't it be:
?

Matthias
