Computer not recognizing usb boot stick omv

  • Hello people,

I have a big problem when I try to install OMV. When I boot my PC on my bootable usb stick it just switch back to the normal OS.
I have set the usb stick at the first place in the boot options and I tried different iso burn programs and different usb sticks.
Here is a list of he used iso programs
    Rufus
    win32diskimager
    UNetbootin
I used also different iso files i used the i389 version and the amd64 version of omv 2.1.
    The computer:
I use the upboard so maybe the upboard isn't able to use omv but I have used ubuntu and that is based on debian and OMV is also debian based.
If you have some advice to help my with this problem please help me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my thread
I can also use a hard drive for installation if that is better

  • Try a different stick. Some of them will never boot, whatever you do.

I'm not familiar with the Up Board. Does it run standard PC software? Just because it runs a (maybe especially compiled) Debian doesn't mean it can run i386 or amd64 packages. A PC operating system like OMV will not run on it.
