I know it's stupid to use NTFS as a file system on a Linux based file server. But I can't change it at the moment.
Curretly i am copying a 90GB file over the 100 Mbit network via NFS (Yes, I know that NFS+NTFS is strange). The Transfer starts with fullspeed during the transfere drops to about 5 Mbit and the CPU (AMD X2 4200+) is then running at 100%.
Do you have any Idea why this is happening or how I can speed things up (I cant change the file-system at the moment)
