Emby spielt keine Videos ab, zeigt keine Bilder an

    I run this command: dpkg -l | grep imagemagick
    But what does it do?

    I check to see if you have another imagemagick package installed. If it showed nothing then you are OK. ImageMagick is normally the package that will be used to display the metadata. We are just using the libraries from Imagemagick.

    OK, I am finding some problems. Give me couple minutes.


    Start with this:
    chown -R emby:nogroup /opt/emby
    cd /opt/emby
    chmod -R 666 *.dll
    chmod -R 666 *.config


    service emby restart


    Refresh browser. Then in Emby UI go to Home/Manage Server then Library and on right click on Scan Library.
    Tell me if it works.

    Okay i did everything...
    But it still dont work ;(
    No Pictures and no Playback. I deleted my browser history and reload page..
    I tried it with firefox and chrome

    The problems seem to be with this folder /opt/emby
    We need to check the subfolder library chmod

    This folder that has wrong chmod comes from Emby's github. I am going to download and unzip it to look at chmod values.

    Okay here are the first errors. But how is this possible? I just reinstalled OMV 1 Week ago....
    Or would it be easier to reinstall omv again?
    But everywhere the people say linux dont need that much reinstalls like windows...

    After "kill 358": No access to the emby page anymore
    After "service emby start": emby starts again, see picture above, just the pid changed from 358 to 4486

    can you try some music???? What file types are your Movies??? It looks like it is running fine. So weird.


    The process looks good. The libraries are active that it needs.
