I have 2x NICs on my OMV server. #1 is a 1Gb link going to my wireless router, which is where all of my main traffic comes and goes (plex streams, etc). The 2nd NIC is a 10Gb fiber link that goes straight to my main computer (to use for backups and transferring large amounts of files back and forth).
To get this to work, I simply added the 2nd interface in OMV 3 as 192.168.2.xxx, went into smb.conf and added "bind interfaces only = yes" + "interfaces = 192.168.2.xxx". This worked without a hitch. But it doesn't work at all in OMV4.
In fact, when adding this 2nd interface in OMV4, I get the following error:
Failed to execute command 'export PATH=/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin; export LANG=C; systemctl start 'networking' 2>&1' with exit code '1': Job for networking.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status networking.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.
I am at a complete loss as to what is going on. Any help is much appreciated.
