Hi!
Recently upgraded from a local APC UPS connected with a USB cable to the APC Smart-UPS XL 750VA with an APC AP9630 NMC CARD 2 connected via ethernet.
Have tried configuring it in the "Services" >> "UPS" section with:
Mode
Netclient
'Standalone' for local UPS, 'Netclient' for remote UPS on a NUT server.
Identifier *
apc
The name used to uniquely identify your UPS on local or remote system.
Comment
Smart-UPS 1000INET
Netclient hostname
192.168.1.19
Netclient user name
apc
Netclient password
ThepasswordfortheNMC-card
Powervalue
1
The number of power supplies that the UPS feeds on this system (usually 1), refer to upsmon.conf(5) for more information.
Shutdown mode
UPS reaches low battery
Defines when the shutdown is initiated.
Keep getting the error "Communications with the UPS apc@192.168.1.19 cannot be established" in my mail, and no status for the UPS under "Diagnostics" >> "Services" >> "UPS". It does however throw an error "Error. Failed to execute command 'export PATH=/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin; export LANG=C.UTF-8; export LANGUAGE=; upsc 'apc@192.168.1.19' 2>&1' with exit code '1': Error: Connection failure: Connection refused".
What am I missing here?
