    I'm a happy OMV user for the past one and a half years. I think i is time to upgrade. I will llist my old setup and new one below and my needs. Please don't hesitate to comment on my new setup.

    I want happy with the plex server performance with the old hardware and also 5.5gigs of space is not enough for me any more.

    Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H (Rev. 1.0) Board (Onboard 6x Sata3 + 2xSata Ports)
    Phenom II x4 955 Cpu
    4x4gb ram
    5x3Tb Seagate NAS discs (Raid5)
    550w powersupply
    In Wın B2 case
    Plugins
    Mainly file sharing, plex server, virtual box, DAAP, and torrent client if a can handel Web Page plugin also.


    Please let me hear your comments about my setup.

    As you probably know, the new set-up will draw significantly more power than the old one, even at idle. This means more heat as well. If you are going to put the new box in the same place the old one was, you'll need to be ready to deal with the extra heat in the room.
