Yes, it is a dual-drive set-up and they power down and idle when not in use

I wanted to build a compact, low power NAS mostly for the sole purpose of serving as a music server and very light file sharing duties. It consists of the following:
Raspberry Pi 3
Anidees aluminum case with crystal top
2 WD Red 1TB 2.5" HDD
Oyen Digital MiniPro v3 RAID enclosure
Runs OMV 3.0.59Music is played using a Raspberry Pi 2B running Moode Audio. I have had no issues so far and for me, it works geat the intended purpose.
