Hello!
I`ve got a problem of starting samba services on a clean installation. After some checks I found that start-stop-daemon app was empty (size eq 0) and it couldn`t start any smbd or nmbd. Also i found the file start-stop-daemon.REAL with normal size of the app. I renamed the *.REAL to normal name and everything started working properly. Please, check the installation scripts due to this issue.
