    Hi,

i use the Proxmox Virtualization Server. There i have two ZFS Pools, one as PVE-Datastore for the VM's and one with my Data which I would like to share on the local Network (NAS):

The Data Pool looks like this:

    Code
    pool
        all
           data
           musik
           video
           others

On Proxmox I do not want to install any additional Software, so my Idea:

NFS Export of the Dataset "all"
OMV Virtual Maschine which mounts that NFS Share and manage the Data as NAS (User, SMB, AFP, DNLA, etc.)

Is such a constellation possible with OMV?

Unfortunately, most do not understand the Principle and the unique Advantages of ZFS :(
For German User a good Webcast: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knKedtlCsa8

It would be great if ZFS would be in OMV. Maybe as a Plugin?

What I've read so far about zfsonlinux.org, that seems to work quite well and above faster than the Fuse Variant.

I think then OMV would really be the best NAS.
