I do not dare restart the computer because I'm afraid the grub is broken and he does not boot clean.
Is there a possible (on the fly) to check grub?
How can I find out why update-grub does not end properly?

The kernel linux-image-4.19.0-0.bpo.6-amd64 also came with the automatic update via the OMV interface. Unfortunately, its installation stopped. I tried it again by hand, but I can not get further:
