    Hallo allerseits,

ich bekomme folgende Mail von unserem NAS:

This is an automatically generated mail message from mdadm running on NAS

A DegradedArray event had been detected on md device /dev/md0.

    Faithfully yours, etc.

P.S. The /proc/mdstat file currently contains the following:

    Personalities : [linear] [multipath] [raid0] [raid1] [raid6] [raid5] [raid4] [raid10]
    md0 : active raid6 sdc[2] sdb[1] sde[4] sdd[3]
    8790405120 blocks super 1.2 level 6, 512k chunk, algorithm 2 [5/4] [_UUUU]
    bitmap: 9/22 pages [36KB], 65536KB chunk

    unused devices: <none>

Somehow I still do etas wrong. I just do not get any further.

    -bash: update-smart-drivedb: command not found.

If it is possible, please give a short tutorial on how to update the database via PuTTY.
I'm Linux beginner, so the easy question to the experts.

I receive the following error message by mail:

    /etc/cron.weekly/openmediavault-update-smart-drivedb:
mesg: ttyname failed: Unpassender IOCTL (I/O-Control) fürdas Gerät

A query with smartctl provides the following information for only a drive:

All other drives have: Device is: In smartctl database

How can I update the database?

You can use the smartctl utility for further investigation.
The original message about this issue was sent on Wed Dec 20 23:05:54 2017 CET Another problem is 24 hours if the problem persists.

But the SMART values are all fine. This hard drive I have already checked on another PC.

    Hello,

I have the following problem. A NAS with OMV 4.0.15-1 was created. Furnished to the best of knowledge and this has been running smoothly for 1 week. Also, several reboots have been possible without problems.
Since yesterday, however, the Raidverbund is no longer there. The Drives and S.M.A.R.T options include all 5 hard disks belonging to the Raid network.
In the Raid administration is said no composite more visible, this is gone.
And in file system is with traffic jams "missing".
It is a Raid composite of 5 hard drives from Western Digital, each with 3TB capacity.
