I've got an custom py scripts and run it from the console, but how can i force to start it automaticly when booting the server?
Now having all my critical data on my OMV server I'm thinking how to secure this NAS. Is it usefull to use the firewall in your own domain (this server is not accessible from the www)? How do you secure your shared folders and SMB/CIFS?
ZoneMinder is a free video camera security application suite, I want to install this in OMV.
There's is upport for Debian you can install it with the following command: apt-get install zoneminder
But after finishing the setup you can access the management page from http://IP/zm, but then I recieve an 404 error.
Does anybody else has experience with this software?
I've got several issues with the setup and trying to get it working, but it takes a lot of time and my linux knowledge is not that great.
I've been using OMV since one month and it's working great combined with SABnzbd + Couchpotato + Sickbeard it's a NAS + download server.
But my media players using YAMJ (Yet Another Movie Jukebox) to create nice GUI to watch movie information, but I need to run this manually from my PC to keep it up-to-date with the newest movies.
Is there anyone who has YAMJ running on OMV? I've found an script that runs automatically after adding new content.
Next week I shall give it a try, keep you updated!
Where can I find the Headphones config file, maybe if I delete this one only an generate a new one?
I'm using port 8181 from the setup, but is it possible to uninstall headphones instead of reinstall?
Start or restarting gives no error, but still cant access the webgui from Headphones.
I've tried restarting the service and get this output;
start-stop-daemon: warning: failed to kill 15409: No such process
1 pids were not killed
No process in pidfile '/var/run/headphones.pid' found running; none killed.
Then I've reinstalled Headphones with the omv.sh script, after installing the service is not running.
Then I've started Headphones service headphones start, but still no console.
I've a problem with Headphones, I can't access the webinterface anymore how can I completely remove this addon and reinstall? I've tried sudo apt-get remove headphones but it doesn't reckonize the package.
I'm using this script a week ago, but there's a new version for SABnzbd but how can I update this software? In the GUI there's an update warning, but that's a link to the setup. How can I do this in OMV?
I've installend OMV on my HP N40L, I want to enable WOL on the embedded NIC (enabled it in BIOS, and in OMV).
But it isn't working at all when I'm trying to wakeup the device with my DD-WRT router.
I've found an solution for Ubuntu: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubu…urce/ifupdown/+bug/981461
Can I use this solution for OMV because it is an Debian distro?
A cople of weeks ago I've installed my HP Microserver N40L the most recent version of OpenMediaVault on a 250GB SATA harddisk.
Today I've installed OMV on a new SSD (with all other harddisks disconnected), at the last step in the setup with custom settings for grub I do not change the default settings.
But when the server reboots and only the SSD is connected OMV won't start, what I'm doing wrong here?
In the BIOS I've changed the default boot settings on SSD and use ACHI mode.
