nächstes problem, die funktion dass, das nas durch drücken des an/ausschalter am Gehäuse runterfährt geht nicht, obwohl die funktion angeschaltet ist im webinterface
bekannter bug oder liegt das wieder nur an meiner kiste ?

kein Problem, das USB Sticks für OMV nicht gut sind hab ich schon damals gelesen

ja, wenn es nochmal passiert geh ich mal per ssh drauf und schaue
Prozessor ist derzeit eine celeron G1610 mit 2x 2,6Ghz, 4GB RAM sowie 4x 3 TB platten. Sollte also von der Leistung für einfaches jbod, also jede platte einzelnd ohne raid dicke reichen.

installiert hab ich das ganze frisch von der iso, also kein update sondern komplett neu.

Ich hoffe ihr versteht alles und könnt mir helfen.

Ich habe mir heute OMV 0.5 auf mein Nas gemacht ( komplett mit der ISO ), dazu dann das Update auf 0.58 per Update Manager.
Ich hab aber mit 0.5 bzw 0.58 nur probleme, von ewigkeiten warten bis er Änderung Übernommen hat ( grüner kreis bzw das neue update zeichen ) bis ausfälle vom Webinterface die mich zum neustarten zwingen.
Bei OMV 0.4 hatte ich keinerlei dieser probleme, die frage ist daher woran das liegt, die hardware die ich habe hat ja vorher super gepasst, und nun nicht mehr ?

in my vm this message is not there, but in my fresh installed machine the message comes only once afert the first creating in the Filesystems tab, but everything runs fine

Celeron G1610
8GB A-Data Ram, DDR3-1333 Mhz
3x 3TB WD Green WD30EZRX
1x 320gb 2,5" Toshiba System HDD

any idea what this is ?

can you tell me which filesystem is the best ? on my box, is the transfer speed on xfs faster than ext4 ( about 10mb/s more )
i have no raid, only just each disk alone

on my 3TB HDD only 2,55TB for data are free, normally its 2,72TB so 160gb are used for the ext4 Partition ?

Hey OMV Fans,

first, sorry for my bad english, but it is not my first/native language
second, OMV looks awesome, good work so thx for it

now my questions:
- i have installed OMV on my machine, and all works great, but the "update manager" task provided me some entries
i use OMV only as a NAS for my mediaplayer and windows PC, so is it recommend to update all ?
- my WD 3TB disks formatted as ext4 are shown as 2,69TB normaly its 2,72TB ( NTFS ) but only 2,55Tb are provided/free is this normal ?
