This Plugin is already in use, and it showed me, in use by: config/system/shares/sharedfolder. Like the path in your picture.
But i dont understand how to delete this. Just reset all permissions wont help, and i dont find the path /config/system....

My Linux knowledge isnt good enough so far.

In the future i will use the way you told before. And dont put a new hdd in, before "reinstall" the old one.

On the other hand is fun to learn something about the whole system.

Delete the sharedfolder doesnt work. Same Error Message. So i tried a different way.

So I wiped the new drive and give it the same name as the old drive, in this case Backup.
The Filesystem is now clear, and there is only the two installed drives.

To get rid of the sharedfolder, i delete it, but didnt apply. Then restart and then apply the changes. Now its gone.

    Thanks for your tip!

    Hey Guys,
i replaced a HDD. If i try to create a Filesystem on the "new" HDD its not possible, also its not possible to delete the Filesystem from the "old" HDD, or unmount the HDD.
Delete the "old" sharedfolder give me an error message.

I did the same replace before, and it was no problem to delete the old sharedfolder and filesystem.

Maybe one of you got a hint for me.

    Facepalm for myself....

I forget to add the folder in SMB/CIFS. Thank You!

I´d like to use the backup also for my icloud drive and some documents and stuff from windows. So i need an easy way to transfer them to a folder with the Explorer from windows. Maybe i could use FreeFileSync to sync that, not sure.

Is there a way to use rsync to sync data from my win10 PC with this backup shared folder? I thought rsync only works within omv.

    Hello again,

for Storage i get myself an Icy Box 3620U3 with two HDDs.
In OMV i can see them, mount them, but i can see only the shared folders i create on one of the HDDs, in the Windows Explorer.
I dont want to use raid. I just want use two HDDs, one for storage and one for backup.

I dont get the clue whats wrong, why i cant see the Shared Folders from both HDDs?

Thanks, I´m not sure why it works now but complete removing and new installing from docker works now.

So i run emby in docker. I do exact the same like Techno Dad in his Video, but the Logfile says:

standard_init_linux.go:190: exec user process caused "exec format error"

and i can´t get into the Webinterface.

    Any Suggestions?

    Hello,
i´ve installed OMV 4 on my raspi 3 as shown in the Video from Techno Dad Life.
But installing Docker doesn´t work. There are different Errors.

After reloading the Web Interface, theres a pop up:

I´ve tried to update, deactivate and activate. I set up the whole installation three times.
I search for solutions about two days but nothing worked for.
My Linux knowledge is low, maybe some of you can help me.

    Thanks in advance.
