Thanks for the info. On an existing test or development system, is it a goos idea to run the command or does it erase/reset all of omv's configurations? In fact, what does the command do?

Hi,

I have OMV4 installed for quite some time and it's running fine. I always update my system manually at the command line

• apt-get update
• apt-get dist-upgrade

After the upgrade, for the first time, I got a message saying that to conplete the installation, I have to run omv-initsystem. Is it safe to run tyhis command at any time on a production server?
