i have solved the problem by one hour installing and deinstalling virtualbox and the plugins. i had now reinstalled the plugin.
deleting the /etc/default/openmediavault-virtualbox file did the trick for a fresh reinstall i think

Hallo,
my gui is not working after update to 1.0.30 and 1.0.32. I did a fresh install from the .iso and the gui works. Then i did the updates and now only the login screen is shown (not fast quite slow). After passing the login data in, there is only a "Please wait loading"-Screen and the browser loads endless data.
greets....
I had solved the problem after more than two weeks. Disabling the CIR Controller in BIOS did it. Linux Kernel seems have problem with the Fintek F71869A on the Jetway NF9A board.
Bios update didn't did it.
i will try the other thing the next days.
i saw in the bios, that sata mode is: ide - is it maybe better to switch to ahci?
It's not a hardware RAID. It was created through the openmediavault panel.
But the disk of the raid, are at the moment not connected.
The Debian netinst image didn't work, because it comes also with kernel 3.2.0-4.
Hi Forum,
i had run the lastet OMV 0.5 and then i updated to 1.0. After the update the Kernel 3.2.0-4 didn't boot.
Problem i posted here:
Update faild from 0.5 to 1.0. - boot of Kernel 3.x doesn't work, old Kernel boots
Now i decided to do a fresh install.
After a errorless install, i did the reboot, but boot process stops at the same line (see pic)
Could some one tell me whats wrong?
i think the next thing i try is this:
Howto install OpenMediaVault on Debian 7.x (Wheezy)
My System:
MB: Jetway NF9A
CPU: Pentium G2130
250 GB System HDD
4x 750GB Raid 5 Storage
4 GB Ram
Hi,
i have updated the omv from the latest 0.5 Version to 1.0.
It seems it runs without Errors.
But at the reboot. The new Kernel 3.2. did not boot. It stops with:
I tried to rerun omv-release-update command on the 2.6 kernel, but now it get the error: command not found
Is there a way to fix this?
Grettings,
fitus
After updating to plugin Version 0.5.6 now when i click on the plugin-item this error msg comes up.
