There was a similar omv-mkconf command in earlier OMV versions too.
I ran omv-salt deploy run samba, but didn't know I had to run omv-salt stage run prepare first.

It seems that the clamav plugin (version 5.0.2) for OMV 5 cannot process on-access scan configurations for clamav 0.102 on Debian 10. Clamav 0.102 uses clamonacc instead of clamd for on-access scans and ignores the ScanOnAccess True option. It would be great if this could be resolved. Thanks in advance!
Did you run omv-salt stage run prepare after that, like explained here: OMV5 Environment Variables
Btw: You can enter this commands in the SMB/CIFS extra options field also.
I didn't know about this extra step in OMV 5, thank you! The problem is solved.
Hello,
I am trying to change the default samba options "create mask = 0664" and "force create mode = 0664" to 0644, and "directory mask = 0775" and "force directory mode = 0775" to 0755. A previous post (https://forum.openmediavault.o…?postID=180302#post180302) tells me that I can achieve this by adding OMV_SAMBA_SHARE_FORCECREATEMODE="0644" and OMV_SAMBA_SHARE_CREATEMASK="0644" to /etc/default/openmediavault, but this does not seem to work for OMV 5 anymore. Is there another way to do this in OMV 5, or do I simply have to add these options every time I create a share?
