So I would try to construct the plugin for calibre, i read the instructions from WastlJ (2014 !!! ) for DIY Plugins, but im not shure if these are all valuable for OMV 3 ..... ?????
are there newer descriptions or can I rely in these old ones ?

Upgraded to OMV 3, all went well and im very satisfied with your work guys ! respect , respect !
Only missing the plugin CALIBRE , although its described as a part of OMV Extrasorg, its neither visible in Web GUI not installable form CLI ( openmediavault-calibre ).
So my question: whos the one who has stolen ist, and why ?
And will it be available or is it cancelled in OMV 3 ?

I don't want only access to OMV Data from my local linux machine, I also will access from other machines ( e.g. work, smartphone ).
If accessing from a windows 7 machine with actual firefox via https , the same as with FF from linux - https is not working.
Also IE isnt working properly with explorer / https .....
Is this an issue of extplorer - or located in firefox / chrome / ie ?
mixed content is the reason, why this happens, is extplorer not capable of https und so there is s a mixing from omv ( https ) and extplorer ( http ) ?

No, there's no button for a web client in the plugins gui ( not visible for me , im using Firefox on LinuxMint and made a try with Chromium , the same with Chromium.
Don't find a way to permanently store this permission

Hi folks,
I played around a little while, was not able to get some file system viewable when logging in to extplorer.
Now this is an issue of https / ssl:

When using HTTPS -> only header line of extplorer appears
When using HTTP -> everything works fine, file system is shown in best practice

Can anyone give me a hint how to get to work with https ? the world is crawling for data, i dont want to act with http ..

Hi Folks,
have a lot of files to bes scanned by minidlna, and after each new generation of any plugin i get these messages, when minidlna starts to scan .
I already changed to value in /proc/sys/fs/inotify/max_user_watches - but as decribed, this is not permanent, is overwritten .
How can this be avoided ? Is there a way to do this permanently ?
