thank you, i changed the source list!
apparently just the http was wrong. Is there a reason why my source list contained just the http instead of https addresses?

    now everything went smoothly!

therefore it was not possible for me to update via omv-release-upgrade on my rpi 8gb 64-bit.

Will this be issued in the near future? Thanks in advance!

    Hey guys,

i'm seeking for help: My the above described Emulex and Mellanox cards don't want to connect. First of all: I get 7 different Networks (in windows) for my Emulex card although there just 2 ports which seems strange to me.

Furthermore the Emulex network adapters in windows say sth like: "No cable detected" (it's in german) for all of the 7 networks.

I set up the static ip addresses for both cards and connected them via sfp+ cable. When i ping the emulex card nothing happens.

I also swapped the cards to see which one is not working properly. When i pinged the mellanox card in windows pc it worked fine. But i couldn't ping the emulex card in my nas.

Do i have to set up sth in the bios? unfortunately i'm very new to nic's and i couldn't find a good page for troubleshooting.

Could anyone tell where to start with troubleshooting?

    Thanks in advance

    Dear lovely community,

is there a possbility to connect my NAS directly via USB to my Desktop PC just like a Synology oder QNap Nas? Everything i find in the forums are threads about booting OMV via USB -Stick.

I have OMV 5.0 installed on my NAS. It has a PCIe card and is currently connected via ethernet and i plugged a usb c cableinto the usb c slot which is going into my Desktop PC.

I also thought about getting a PCIe 10Gigbit Network card but i don't have the money yet.

Anybody now how to set it up?

    Thanks in advance!
