    Installation of PlexPy on Debian 7.x (Wheezy)
    A python based web application for monitoring, analytics and notifications for Plex Media Server (www.plex.tv).

    Pre-Requirements

    PlexPy Install

    Code

    Install as a daemon
    This installation assumes PlexPy is installed to /opt/plexpy. Make sure all paths are correct and accessible. A common mistake is that a daemon user has no read and/or write permissions.

    Install Deluge plugin and Deluge Remote Client to use AutoAdd plugin with multiple watch folders


    This tutorial will help you to configure the OpenMediaVault-Deluge plugin and the desktop client to take advantage of the famous AutoAdd plugin that allows you to configure multiple Watch / Complete folder. Who to call it, is not available in the server version, but only in desktop version


    Using multiple files allows you great flexibility in terms of managing downloads. Managing Multiple Watch and Complete records. Management ratio for each parameter, and more and more.


    This tutorial assumes that you have already version 1.0 and all updates done and OMV-Extras.org installed.


    It's started


    Install Openmediavault-Deluge plugin


    Install Deluge and choose your version

    Clic [Start], Be patient, it can take some time.
    and clic [Close]


    Setup Deluge plugin


    Launch [Deluge Web Interface]
    Enter password "Deluge" and the software ask you for your first login to change your password. Clic [Yes] and now you have a Connection Manager popup window, choose your local host 127.0.0.1:58846 and clic connect.


    Enter old password : deluge
    and enter new Password and clic [Change] button and [Apply]


    Now go to Categorie Daemon and activate "Allow Remote Connexions"



    Now Close all Deluge Web Interface



    Install Deluge Client Ubuntu, Windows or Mac OS-X
    Go to deluge-torrent.org and intall your prefered Deluge OS version. In this tutorial the setup is created on Ubuntu 14.04, but it's exactly the same thing on Windows or Mac OS-X.


    After you have installed the Deluge Client.
    ** Sorry my Deluge is not in english on screenshots


    Open Preferences


    Go to Interface and untick Classic mode

    And clic [Apply] and close preferences.



    Find the Deluge-daemon username and password in the auth.conf file
    Now before continuing, you need the some informations stored on aut.conf file from your server.


    Open Putty or any SSH client, connect to your OMV server and you need to open the deluge auth configuration file

    $ nano /home/deluge-daemon/.config/deluge/auth



    On this file you have 3 things,
    the username : localclient
    the password (long string) : 233d7fad7a5d15dc446aa09186f50577745d9cb1
    and the user level : 10 (not needed in this tutorial)


    Before quit putty important, restart your deluge-deamon (to make previously changes take effects)


    type :

    $ service deluge-daemon restart



    Deluge client configuration


    Now return to your desktop client and Open Connecion Manager


    Clic [Add] button


    Add your server Ip adresse, username (localclient) and your super long password string.


    Now back to Connexion Manager


    Extend Settings and Tick Automatic connexion and Do not show this windows at start.


    Now Choose your local client connexion and clic [Connect]


    And voilà! You can now add the AutoAdd plugin and create all your Watch folders and complete folders you want on your NAS. like Watch-movies/complete-movies, watch-tvshows/complete-tvshows, watch-apps/complete-apps, etc etc..

    The guest on which you installed the guest additions, it should be rebooted after installation to load the drivers. Do you need a command to do that? ;)


    Ok, If I understand you, you ask if I reboot the winXP (the OS I have installed the guest additions).. and yes.. many time I've reboot the OS. If is not the OS you talking about.. you lost me :/

  • Virtualbox - Double cursors on RDP

    Hi all..


    I searched and tested many things but I get nothing. I post here because I need inspiration for the future. :)


    Juste to all understand me.. I launch a WinXP virtual machine via phpVirtualBox. After that.. I open RDP on port 3389 or 9000 (I've tried this 2 ports) and I have always 2 mouse cursors on my screen.


    The first is the cursors of my original mouse (on windows or ubuntu) and the second is the mouse cursor provided by the OS (WinXP). And it's really tiring!


    Any idea to correct this problem? I have tried to install the GuestAdditions, but it solve nothing. I've trying different mouse type in phpVB config PS/2, USB and Tablet. But nothing change.. I've trying different resolution before boot the OS via VB and in the XP directly and nothing..


    I do not know what to do for the rest.. any idea?

  • Greyhole does not correctly recognize a folder

    Hi, I have posted this message on greyhole support also... I post here in case someone would an idea


    I recently crashed mySQL after an update. After a fresh re-installation of greyhole and mySQL. I found all my files with the exception of my music folder. All my files are there. And they all have a size (example: It Will Rain.mp3 10 248 Ko). But gives me an error when reading. No matter whether a player under windows, ubuntu or android. Always the same result. It is as if all files were corrupted or empty ..


    I even try to copy all my music on an external USB hard drive and still the same result.


    Another thing .. when I try to copy the music locally from the Landing Zone, it simply copies the symlinks. I have to go through a local share / mnt / samba / music to copy to my external hard drive. This can perhaps give a clue ..


    And.. all my files point to a folder : ie
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root users 115 avr 28 2014 14 - Stealth.mp3 -> /media/dd943606-4496-4e8e-99c8-eaf7b96ec7ad/.greyhole/musiques/Bad Religion/Recipe for Hate (1993)/14 - Stealth.mp3

    EDIT 01-03-2015 : Never resolved! my files are modified to value 0 with "i dont know why/who" (empty but with a size). Need to delete them and restart the collection.

  • I want to remove my Old SubSonic plugin

    Yes I have 2 folders.. 1 SubSonic and other subsonic


    And in the SubSonic folder I have only the subsonic.js and on the subsonic folder I have Settings.js, Subsonic.js and WebInterface.js


    I presume the subsonic.js is the bad folder.. now.. what's next? :)



    EDIT : Ok all work fine now.. I make a backup of my /var/subsonic for my settings and DB, remove manualy the 2 folders and uninstalling the plugins via OMV GUI. After fresh new install the plugins and copy/overwrite the /var/subsonic and voilà..


    tanks guys for your help.. the clue I searched for is the "/var/www/openmediavault/js/omv/module/admin/service/" :)

    resolved by purge all mysql services and config files and do a fresh install


    Special tanks to ryecoaaron for his dedication. Without guys like him (and other active members as Davidh2k, tekkb, jhmiller and all other, and excuse me if I miss names) OMV would not be what it is today.

    : Failed to execute command 'omv-mkconf mysql 2>&1': Unable to find any database files in /var/lib/mysql. Directory doesn't exist.


    this directory exist and have stuff in...
